Description

The purpose of the Post Room Operative is to process all deliveries that arrive into the Concierge Office using the company and development standard operating procedures along with the parcel software and provide superior levels of customer service to residents and guests at all times and be an ambassador to the company.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Accountabilities:

  • Lead by example by adopting procedures and values.
  • Constantly strive for continuous improvement.
  • Delivering excellent customer service.
  • Take personal responsibility for understanding and following the company's Health & Safety policies and practices.
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information, dealing with issues and queries with utmost professionalism.

Role Specific Accountabilities:

  • To manage all parcel deliveries from couriers and the Post office efficiently.
  • Sort all mail and parcels and process through the Concierge HV system.
  • Store deliveries in correct locations.
  • Issue parcels to customers ensuring that correct security is followed.
  • Log all packages that are marked "RTS" and return to the correct courier.
  • Complete parcel audit on a daily bases
  • Take responsibility for efficient housekeeping in the parcel room and ensure it is always clean and tidy.
  • Assist the Estate Management Team in processing and issuing Permits to Work in accordance with company
  • Ensure all Health and Safety policies are completed with i.e. manual handling.
  • Provide additional support to the Concierge Team if needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCY:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent IT (Microsoft) and numeracy skills.
  • To be a team player.
  • Have a flexible approach and ability to use initiative.
