Our client is seeking a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Operative to join a growing student accommodation provider at a modern, fully occupied scheme in West London.
Working as part of a close-knit on-site team, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment for residents. This is a varied position where no two days are the same, offering a mix of planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, inspections, and contractor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive repairs across the site
- Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and decorating tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and statutory compliance checks
- Respond to maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved efficiently
- Monitor and support contractors working on site
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and testing logs
- Ensure all communal areas are safe, clean, and well-presented
Your Requirements:
- Experience within maintenance, facilities, hospitality, residential, PBSA, BTR, or a similar environment
- Knowledge of PPMs, reactive maintenance, and general building repairs
- Basic plumbing, electrical, and decorating skills
- Understanding of health & safety and compliance procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive, proactive, and hands-on approach
