About our client
Our client is an independent block management business based in Oxfordshire, managing a portfolio of residential blocks for private and freehold clients across the region. They've built their reputation on a genuinely local, hands-on approach, and they're a close-knit, well-established team.
The role
They're looking for a Senior Property Manager to take on a varied portfolio of residential blocks, working closely with clients and leaseholders day to day. You'll pick up an existing patch and be trusted to run with it quickly, so this is a role for someone experienced who can hit the ground running. A strong in-house accounts team takes care of year-end accounts and invoice processing, so the role stays focused on operational and client-facing work rather than finance admin.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a varied portfolio of residential blocks day to day, including regular site inspections
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, leaseholders and freeholders
- Progressing projects and works through to completion, liaising with contractors along the way
- Attending and running client meetings, including AGMs where required
- Working closely with the in-house accounts and admin team to keep things moving
- Handling day-to-day queries and issues as they come up across your portfolio
Skills and experience
Essential
- Solid experience in residential block/property management, ideally at a senior level
- Confident, client-facing manner and the ability to build relationships quickly
- Resilient and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- IT literate, able to pick up new systems and processes without heavy hand-holding
Desirable
- TPI or equivalent property management qualification
- Experience with property management software such as Trams, MoJo or Dwalin
Why join them
This is a genuinely local business with a strong support structure already in place around the PM role, so you're not left juggling accounts and admin on top of your core work. They offer a working pattern that includes some time working from home each week.
