Day Porter

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Porter to join the team at a luxury development in the Central / West London

Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30am - 16:30pm

Responsibilities

• Conduct morning and afternoon inspections of all common areas.
• Ensure entrances, lifts, stairwells, corridors, basement and car park areas are clean, safe and well presented.
• Hoover and mop entrances including lift interiors.
• Remove litter from external areas.
• Maintain bin storage areas in a tidy and hygienic condition.
• Monitor all persons entering the building and car park and ensure authorised access only.
• Liaise with emergency services and facilitate building access when required.
• Respond to resident enquiries in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
• Deliver packages from the main desk to residents and assist with parcels and reasonable requests where appropriate.
• Comply with all Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Identify and report hazards immediately.
• Assist with fire safety checks as directed and ensure communal areas remain free from trip and fire hazards.

Requirements:

• Experience in Residential or 5* Hotels.
• Reliable and timekeeping.
• Immaculate presentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the highest level of customer service.
• Be able to demonstrate initiative.
