Description
  • Plumbing: Fixing leaks, unblocking sinks/toilets, repairing taps, and maintaining pipes.
  • Electrical: Replacing light bulbs, fixing light fittings, and conducting basic PAT testing.
  • Joinery/Carpentry: Hanging doors, fixing door handles, and repairing skirting boards.
  • Painting and Decorating: Preparing surfaces, painting walls, and repairing tiling.
  • General Repairs: Fixing fencing, replacing glazing, repairing flooring, and assembling furniture.
Safety and Site Management
  • Safety Inspections: Performing checks on security systems, fire doors, and emergency lighting.
  • Void Management: Conducting inspections of empty properties and preparing them for new residents.
  • Exterior Maintenance: Maintaining building exteriors, including gutters, fences, and minor groundworks.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all repairs meet health and safety standards.
Administrative and Customer Service
  • Reporting: Recording completed repairs and reporting further issues to managers.
  • Communication: Acting as the first point of contact for tenants, handling requests with good customer service.
  • Scheduling: Planning daily maintenance tasks and prioritizing emergency repairs.
