Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
£26,000 - £28,000 DOEWe are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join a well-presented mixed-use building in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being the face of a building and takes pride in delivering exceptional front-of-house service.
The building comprises medical clinic spaces alongside a small number of residential apartments, creating a varied and engaging working environment.
The Role
As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clinicians, residents and contractors. You will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the front desk while providing administrative support and maintaining a welcoming, professional atmosphere at all times.
This role would suit someone calm, organised and proactive, who can confidently manage multiple tasks while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming visitors and notifying relevant parties of their arrival
Managing appointment arrivals and departures
Answering and screening phone calls
Maintaining and updating calendars and meeting schedules
Sorting post and arranging couriers
Coordinating contractor visits and liaising with facilities management
Monitoring building communications and announcements
Maintaining security procedures and controlling access
Ensuring the reception area remains tidy and presentable
Providing a brief weekly handover/report on building activity
Supporting with general administrative tasks including travel arrangements when required
About You
Minimum 1 year experience in a reception or administrative role (graduates also considered)
Strong customer service skills and a professional, approachable manner
Calm and efficient under pressure
PC literate with good Microsoft Office knowledge
Flexible, reliable and a strong team player
Able to work independently and use initiative
Good attendance record
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
