Residential ApartmentsWe are recruiting for a proactive and hands-on Weekday Porter to oversee a small, well-located residential building of apartments in Marylebone.
This is a standalone role suited to someone reliable, practical and personable, who is confident managing the day-to-day upkeep of a smaller development. The successful candidate must be approachable yet professional and confident maintaining standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the main on-site point of contact for residents
- Overseeing daily building operations and ensuring smooth running
- Managing parcel deliveries and contractor access
- Carrying out regular building inspections
- Reporting and coordinating maintenance issues
- Maintaining communal areas to a high standard (light cleaning duties included)
- Ensuring the building remains safe, tidy and well-presented at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous porter, caretaker or residential experience preferred
- Hands-on and happy to undertake light cleaning duties
- Organised, self-sufficient and able to manage a small site independently
- Confident dealing with a mix of residents
- Professional, dependable and takes pride in maintaining standards
- Basic IT skills for logging issues and communicating with management
