Salary: £50,000 - £55,000The Opportunity
This is a strong opportunity to join a well-established block management firm based in Eton, supporting a portfolio that continues to grow through new business wins. You'll join a professional team of 22, including in-house accounts and legal departments, and benefit from dedicated administrative support while managing a varied portfolio across the Thames Valley region.
The Role
You will be responsible for a portfolio of approximately 30-40 residential blocks, totalling around 1,000 units. The position requires confident day-to-day management, clear communication with clients and leaseholders, and a proactive approach to compliance and maintenance. You'll oversee repairs, service contracts, and statutory obligations, while budgets are produced for you by the accounts team.
Key duties include:
Delivering high-quality management across your assigned portfolio
Leading on all client communication and being the primary contact for leaseholders
Managing contractors and overseeing repairs and maintenance
Ensuring buildings remain compliant with all Health & Safety legislation
Issuing Section 20 notices and coordinating major works
Reviewing and approving budgets prepared by the accounts department
Liaising with the internal legal team where required
Attending site inspections and occasional evening meetings
Working closely with three dedicated Assistant Property Managers who support administration and daily workflow
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience managing your own block management portfolio (essential)
ATPI required; MTPI preferred
Strong understanding of fire regulations; HRB experience desirable but not essential
Confident managing service charge budgets and major works
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
