They are now seeking an experienced Risk Assessor to join the team on a short-term contract to complete a programme of focused risk assessments and compliance audits across their residential portfolio.

This is a hands-on role requiring a qualified Health & Safety professional who can work independently, produce clear and detailed reports, and recommend practical, actionable improvements to ensure the safety and wellbeing of on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across multiple residential developments where site-based staff are employed.
  • Deliver targeted assessments including:
  • Lone-working risk assessments
  • Sexual harassment risk assessments (relating to workplace conduct and environments)
  • Health & Safety audits and documentation reviews
  • Review, update, and maintain risk assessment documentation in line with current legislation and best practice.
  • Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and propose proportionate control measures in line with HSE guidance.
  • Liaise with site management, HR, and operational teams to gather data and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations to reduce or eliminate identified risks.
  • Produce high-quality written reports summarising findings and agreed actions.
  • Support the HR and Compliance team in ensuring safe working environments and legal compliance.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a confident and methodical Health & Safety professional with strong practical experience conducting site-based risk assessments in residential or facilities management environments.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) - essential.
  • Proven track record of carrying out risk assessments within residential property management, facilities management, or similar settings.
  • Excellent working knowledge of HSE regulations, GDPR considerations, and industry best practice.
  • Experience assessing risk related to lone working, harassment, and general site safety.
  • Strong written communication and report-writing ability, with attention to accuracy and clarity.
  • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel between sites.
  • Highly dependable, professional, and solutions-focused.
  • Strong organisational skills, punctuality, and commitment to delivering work to the highest standards.

The Package

  • Competitive salary (to be confirmed, depending on experience)
  • Full travel expenses covered
  • 3-month fixed-term contract with potential extension
  • Opportunity to work with one of the sector's leading HR and staffing specialists
  • Exposure to a broad and diverse portfolio of managed residential developments
