- Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our busy Build to Rent site located in North West London.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day management of reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
- Provide support for minor electrical and plumbing repairs throughout the property.
- Share responsibility for completing regular Health & Safety checks, including fire alarm and emergency lighting tests.
- Support compliance with Planned and Reactive Maintenance procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and employees.
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies, ensuring Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Permit to Work systems are properly followed.
About You:
- Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring operational standards are consistently met.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments to maintain high operational standards.
- Take initiative in addressing and resolving maintenance concerns raised by residents.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with residents and colleagues, in person, by phone, and via email.
Key Requirements:
- 3 year plumbing/ electrical/ carpentry/ building or general maintenance experience
- Proficient in using Microsoft programmes
- Previous experience working large plants
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays
