Receptionist/Host
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 18:00 (plus paid overtime if required)An excellent Receptionist/Host is required for a world-class super prime residential project in Central London. This landmark development will set a new standard of luxury living, with the role initially based at the client's head office and later moving to site once the marketing suite and show apartments are operational.
The Development
This spectacular new-build residential scheme will comprise over 100 contemporary luxury homes, setting a new benchmark for quality and service in London. Residents will benefit from an extensive range of amenities, including wellness facilities, treatment rooms, gym, lounges, a swimming pool, and valet-operated underground parking, all set within beautifully landscaped surroundings.
The scheme is currently in the pre-sale period, and this role will support the development through construction phases into completion and resident handover.
The Role
The Receptionist/Host will be the first point of contact for all visitors and play a vital part in supporting the client's team, including the Sales Director and Sales Manager, during client presentations. This position requires a polished, eloquent, and sophisticated individual to deliver exceptional service at all times and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience.
The Candidate
As the first impression of the project, the Receptionist/Host must be confident, personable, and professional. They will act as an ambassador for the brand, providing a welcoming yet exclusive environment for incoming guests and potential buyers.
Essential skills and attributes include:
- Previous luxury experience (hospitality, residential, retail/clientele, private members' club, luxury cruise/yacht, or UHNW/HNW client-facing roles)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent manners
- Discretion, initiative, and cultural awareness across international client groups
- Impeccable personal presentation, hygiene, and professionalism
- Flexible and hands-on approach, able to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, professional welcome and manage guest arrivals and departures
- Manage phone lines, direct calls, and take accurate messages
- Oversee digital sign-in systems for seamless visitor registration
- Manage diaries and coordinate visits
- Provide cloakroom service and offer/replenish refreshments in a discreet, professional manner
- Ensure meeting and presentation spaces are always immaculate
- Maintain stock levels and liaise when replenishment is required
- Prepare and manage presentation materials for client visits
- Support sales presentations with an engaged, polished presence
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, agents, and internal teams
Requirements
- Proven luxury-sector experience (hotel, residential, private client services, retail, cruise/yacht, etc.)
- Fluent English; additional languages highly desirable
