- Description
We are hiring a Facilities Manager with a strong electrical background to work at our central London offices. The candidate will spend time going out visiting the various properties in the London portfolio. You will be responsible for the effective delivery of the various buildings compliance obligations, planned preventative maintenance, sub - contractor management and mid term inspections.
The Role
- Work with the General Managers to ensure compliance with current Fire and Health & Safety regulations.
- Manage the activities of the sub-contractors that provide hard & soft services with the support of the facilities team
- Review internal Risk Assessments annually, and liaise with the Group Health & Safety provider for annual FRA & H&S reports & subsequent action points.
- Provide effective leadership, guidance and support for all services through the management of directly employed Team Members, sub-contractors and suppliers.
Requirements
- Recognised property qualification (NFOPP, RICS, ARLA, ARMA, IRPM, IOSH, NEBOSH, CIBSE, CIOB, IHEEH)
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of BTR operator principles, including equipment maintenance, health and safety regulations, and efficiency in facility operations.
- An understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and its impact on landlords of higher-risk buildings
- A qualification in electrics/ mechanics (i.e. NVQ, City Guilds or similar)

- Experience in the assistance of management of profit and loss accounts.
- Excellent customer relationship skills and attention to detail
- Experience of working in the private residential sector
- Great customer service skills
