- Description
Our client is seeking a temporary Estate Manager to lead a Luxury Residential Development in Bromley By Bow.
This is a temporary position, which is likely to be ongoing until April/May 2024.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5ppm
Duties:
- The Estate Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Development.
- Responsible for all employees based at the Development.
- Works closely with contractors and external parties as required.
- To take responsibility for the presentation, cleanliness, and safety of all the external and internal public areas, facilities, and the car park.
- To interact with residents in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner at all times.
- Acting as a first point of contact for all queries from residents.
- To ensure that any breaches of security or damage are reported to the relevant authorities.
- To carry out regular weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual site reporting, including all operational and health and safety issues.
- Ensuring that the quality of service at the development is always maintained to a high level.
- Effective management of the on-site staff in partnership with the managing agent.
- Ensuring all required health and safety inspections and activities are carried out to the highest standards.
- Manage all contracts and assist in the development and management of long-term maintenance plans.
- Creating and implementing all relevant operational strategies.
- Health and safety compliance in accordance with the managing agent's policy including monthly H&S checks, weekly lift alarm tests, weekly fire alarm tests, and emergency light tests.
- To be fully conversant with all the site manuals, operating procedures, and operation of the communal M&E items.
- Attend regular client meetings as per requirement.
You must have a strong solid proven track record within a similar environment, an understanding of building maintenance and residential property law, knowledge of Health and safety in the workplace and carrying out risk assessments.
The successful candidate will be IT literate, have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills as well as be truly motivated, tenacious, and resourceful.
