Description

A leading Student Accommodation provider is keen to hire two experienced Maintenance Managers to work across two luxury developments, both are based in Central London - Zones 1 and 2.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE + Annual Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain assets through management of planned preventative maintenance programmes and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Manage the facilities, PPM, RM and Lifecycle of the building, to ensure Customer & Property Management objectives and KPI targets are met.
  • Support the achievement of 100% compliance in Audit.
  • Regularly perform checks to ensure that all Property Documentation Files are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor and Manage Property team adherence to H&S policy ensuring that Risk Assessments and Method Statements are obtained/ maintained and that safe systems of work are followed.
  • Manage property turnaround processes.
  • Line manage Maintenance Operatives and Supervisors with consistent 1:1s, objective setting and feedback. Manage difficult conversations and ER cases.
  • Support in the management of resourcing and rotas of Maintenance team to ensure people are in the right place at the right time. Line manage Maintenance Operatives.
  • Identify training needs of Maintenance team and work with management to address any developmental areas.
  • Support in the induction of new team members helping them to be fully operational within role in a timely fashion.

Candidate Must Haves:

  • Compliance - experience using BHR auditing or similar auditing tracking system.
  • Experience with CAFM system
  • Management of PPM system
  • Have a hands-on approach. Needs to be ready to be on the tools.
  • Electrical/water plant room experience
  • BMS system experience
  • Team management experience / organising rotas for the team.
  • Proactive and confident with contractors
  • Able to be on call on a rota basis
  • Ideally experience in the following sectors; student accommodation, hospital, new developments and hotels.
