- Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Residential Porter, to join their high-end residential block based in W1H.
Hours - Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm (Overtime also available)
Salary - £24,000 per annum + OvertimeMain Duties
Emergency Procedures
- Ascertain the type of emergency and call the necessary emergency services/contractors and inform the head porter/managing agent immediately
Security
- Prevent any unauthorised entries, suspected loitering.
- Deal with visitors to the building and ensure that all other porters are aware of all entries.
- Ensure that keys held at reception are given to authorised persons only.
Care of the Building
- Ensure that any works taking place in the building are authorised.
- Protect the building during works being carried out.
- Notify the Head Porter of any works that need to be carried out in the building.
- You will need to notify the Head Porter/management office of any unauthorised subletting in the building.
Dealing with Tenants
- Deal with residents' complaints, any disturbances by tenants or tenants contravening the terms of the lease and report to the Head Porter/managing agents.
- Give assistance to tenants where necessary.
- Be present at the Porters' Desk at all times, other than on breaks or when attending to emergencies.
- Answering Telephones.
Health and Safety at work
- You will be supplied with a Health and Safety Manual which you need to comply with at all times.
