PMR are seeking a Business Development Manager for our client to be responsible for delivering financial growth and brand recognition for a leading national Build to Rent provider.
Representing the business within the corporate market, with an extensive understanding and vast knowledge of the services that we offer.
A key player in selling our client's services to their potential clients, taking part in pitches and presenting where required, ensuring a decisive, persuasive, and confident deliver.- Identify key market opportunities for corporate partnership within the market, through research and business analysis and your own self-initiative
- Generate new business opportunities, ideally through existing industry contacts and acquiring new clients
- Lead the delivery of a strategic business development plan that supports our client becoming a key stakeholder within the corporate market
- Reviewing and keeping up-to-date with the market, to review any potential business development opportunities
- Preparing proposals & presentations to respond to tenders and Request for Proposals
- Arranging business meetings with key corporate stakeholders and decision-makers
- Liaise directly with Clients throughout the tender process and delivery of services to ensure continuity and consistency in relationships and quality of service and in line with company values.
- Working alongside the senior leadership team in mapping and delivering our business-to-business approach, by promoting our third-party management services
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency services and their impact on the sector
- Representing our client at meetings, conferences, and networking events
- Building long-standing and successful relationships with key clientele
- Prepare and regularly update suite of documents for use as part of the sales and client onboarding journey, including liaising with solicitors on legal contract templates.
- Oversee onboarding of new clients and manage client relationship during pre-mobilisation and mobilisation
- Identify and support with set up of new additional income stream opportunities
- Research market competitors and provide feedback to SLT
- Raise our client's profile within the BTR industry
General Responsibilities:- Act always in line with the Company Values, integrating these into all work practices.

- Understand the importance of taking care of one's own health and safety and that of others; following the guidance outlined in the Safety Management System.
- Always maintain accurate records (both computerised and manual).
- To observe the highest possible standards in relation to customer confidentiality and in compliance with Data Protection legislation.
- To act as an ambassador for the company in your conduct during working hours and in all contact with customers and third parties connected with the company's business.
- Ensure good inter-team working relationships and strong communication with both internal and external customers at all times to ensure the company delivers the best possible service.
- Support the Marketing Team to implement engaging community building events for residents
- To undertake any other duties as are reasonably requested from time to time.
Personal Specification:
- Proven track record of hitting targets and delivering results within the property sector, or a similar sales/new business environment
- At least 5 years' experience of targeting, winning, and generating new business in a customer-facing role, with excellent communication skills with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- The ability to work using your own self-initiative, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrated excellence in presenting at senior level within the corporate market.
- The confidence to deal with all key stakeholders within a business to develop trust and buy-in, including all levels of staff from negotiator up to Executive level.
- Experience with various systems including Microsoft Office, CRMs, and campaign management tools, email and newsletter management tools & survey/data collections tools.
- Maintaining all systems required to fulfil duty of the position
- Report on key KPIs in a timely manner
- Act as a client liaison person for any new clients we onboard until site is mobilised.
- Deal with RFIs for new business as well as building, customising pitch decks and lead on sales pitches.
- Experience selling to developers/property investors would be desirable but not essential.
- Travelling will be required for this role.
