- Description
You will oversee the day to day running of the Estate working with the office base Property Manager.
Principal accountabilities:- Assisting residents with any queries or requirements
- Carrying out regular patrols of the building - Conduct health and safety inspections in accordance with service standards and contractual obligations.
- Logging and reporting any maintenance issues to the Property Manager and carrying out minor repair works where needed.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance duties in accordance with safe operating procedures and relevant health & safety policies - (Training provided)
- Management of keys
- Complying with all Health and Safety requirements
- Dealing with complaints
- Maintaining the security of the Estate in general
- Ensure all common parts are clear of potential hazards including those attributable to seasonal changes including external footpaths.
- Keep communal areas clear of any obstructions particularly fire evacuation routes and exits.
- Responding to emergencies and escalating to Property Manager where required.
- Regular site walks with Property manager and Directors highlighting issues and following through to ensure resolved.
Person Specification Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Experience
- Background in multi-skilled practice handyman (Desirable)
- Computer literacy. Ability to learn and implement systems and processes. (Essential)
