Our client is looking for a Deputy General Manager for a fabulous residential building in Kensington!
Rota:
You will be expected to work on a 4-week rota, as below:
Week 1: 07.00-15.00 - Monday to Friday
Week 2: 08.00-16.00- Monday to Friday
Week 3: 11.00-19.00- Monday to Friday
Week 4: 14.00-22.00 Monday to Wednesday - Thursday and Friday OFF and then 07.00-15.00 Saturday and Sunday.
(35 hours per week - anything over 35 is paid at time and a half)Core Competencies:

Primary Responsibilities:
- To operate as an effective Deputy for the General Manager. Take full responsibility for any urgent maintenance issues or health and safety concerns - keeping the General Manager informed
- To exhibit the skills and techniques to take responsibility for the line management of colleagues in the General Manager's absence
- To demonstrate excellent Communication skills with colleagues, residents, plus contractors and all other third-party connections, leading to the delivery of high quality customer service
- To ensure that the security measures at the property are maintained to a high standard at all times, such as keeping a record of contractors/tradesmen working on site (times, dates etc), logging any keys issued, monitoring security cameras
- To raise work orders on the bespoke Property Management system and instruct approved contractors where required to undertake reactive or planned maintenance or compliance works, whilst ensuring value for money and a high standard of finish
Essential experience:
- Worked in a similar environment for a minimum of three years
- Knowledge and experience of health and safety legislation relating to the working environment and residential buildings
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft windows software including Word and Outlook
- A good general knowledge of property maintenance and refurbishment principles and the ability to instruct and manage contractors accordingly
- A good general knowledge of property mechanical and electrical installations including communal heating systems
Desirable:
- A qualification in health and safety such as IOSH or a willingness to work towards it
- Knowledge and experience of health and safety relating to property maintenance and refurbishment activities
- Experience working with residential tenants living in prime central London property
Qualifications:
- Good level of education - to include written and verbal communication skills
- Not essential but the Company is committed to supporting those wishing to work towards relevant qualifications
