An excellent housekeeper is required for a luxury, brand-new boutique mixed-use scheme launching this summer in Kensington.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday: 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pmThe housekeeping team will be responsible for ensuring all communal areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest levels in accordance with the scheme and management standards. They will need to have an eye for detail and be able to prioritise effectively as well as work under pressure. As a role which is front of house, they will need to demonstrate strong communication and customer services skills, it is vital that the residents receive a friendly, helpful and responsive level of service.
Role Specific Tasks:
* Ensure all common areas are cleaned and cared for to the highest standards every day ensuring the scheme is kept meticulously clean and organised at all times.
* Carry out housekeeping duties for both front and back of house areas such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, hoovering, cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers, countertops and sinks, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area, removing rubbish as and when required.
* Collect refuse from each apartment at a set time each day and assist with the coordination of the bin collections.
* Minimise spoilage, breakage and wastage of operating supplies being mindful of budget at all times.
* Have a complete understanding of the different cleaning products and their economical use ensuring the appropriate cleaning materials are used in accordance with product instructions.Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury industry
* High standard of written and spoken English.
* Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills
* Confident, professional and welcoming personality
