Description

We are working with a prestigious residential block based in the heart of the West End, seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee the day to day operations. You will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to both client and residents, and will have experience in managing a team of Concierges and Cleaners.

Hours: Monday to Friday (9am to 5.30pm)

Salary: £55,000 per annum

Main duties:

  • Supervising all aspects of the day to day management and maintenance of the site.
  • Responsible for the supervision of any contractors working within the building and ensuring the required standards are achieved and maintained at all times
  • Technical knowledge of building systems and M & E would be beneficial
  • Managing a team of 24/7 Concierge and Cleaners
  • To carry out property management tasks as directed by the Managing Agent.

  • To assist the Managing Agent, to implement policies and procedures as agreed by the Board of Directors.
  • Close cooperation is required with the Managing Agent.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all company, stakeholder and resident matters.

Ideal candidate attributes:

  • Facilities management experience would be preferred, exposure to M&E / strong technical knowledge
  • IOSH trained.
  • Good understanding of statutory legislation (Health and Safety, Landlord and Tenant) procedures and best practice. Experience in interpreting, advising and implementing company procedures in a consistent manner.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, to communicate with stakeholders, staff and residents alike.
  • Ability to carry out presentations and training sessions.
  • Written communication and numerical skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports to the Managing Agent and the Board of Directors
