Description

Ourt client is looking for an experienced Porter to work at a luxury development in St John's Wood.

Salary: 23K-24K per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

Duties:

  • To provide all necessary services to the residents.
  • Communicate efficiently with all other members of staff and the residents and be responsible for a welcoming atmosphere throughout the property.
  • Regular building patrol to ensure cleanliness and comfort of the reception area and common parts.
  • A daily patrol of a nearby sister site is required including cleaning as necessary.
  • During working hours to be located at the reception desk except when carrying out any required work within the building or sister site.
  • At all times to ensure the security of the building is not jeopardised in any way.
  • Main entrance doors will have to be monitored and while at the front desk, you will have to monitor the CCTV feeds.
  • To assist residents at all times together with their guests and visitors when and where required.
  • To perform all necessary porter duties. These duties include but are not limited to carrying luggage / packages for residents, cleaning duties as and when required.
  • To receive and distribute all mail.
  • To monitor all persons at the property and ensure they have a right to be present.
  • To answer the telephone and deal with general enquiries. To log messages, requests & events as per the approved procedure by correctly using the tools at your disposal.
  • To monitor the presence of contractors around the building and supervise their activities to ensure minimum disturbance to residents. This monitoring to be done in accordance with the agreed procedure.
  • Report and monitor health and safety issues and ensure a full safe working practice.
  • Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Property Manager
  • Conform to any house rule as issued from time to time by the Property Manager.
  • To take part in training in line with the company policies and procedures.
  • Log and report any incidence of disrepair by using the appropriate procedure/ tool at your disposal.

Professional experience and personal skills profile:

  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of an operation when alone.
  • Professional, precise, courteous, and dedicated.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Team player.

Career Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • At least 2 year's experience in a front of house role in a luxury residential environment.
  • Excellent and proven Customer Services experience.
  • IOSH qualification preferred.
