Our client is a very well respected and award-winning managing agent based in North West London. Due to natural expansion they are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join the team. You will be brought on board to support and guide the team members and manage a small, profitable portfolio in London.
Duties:
* Management of a profitable (but smaller than typical) portfolio
* Support team members to help them observe property management procedures
* Support and guide team members on best practice to ensure team complies with relevant statutory
requirements and relevant regulations, including those set out by RICS and ARMA
* To support team's compliance with H&S, paying regard to legislative requirements in this area
* Accompany team members to attend client meetings, as required
* Main support for team members in reviewing and resolving initial questions/requests for help
* Providing input to management team on portfolio changes
* To act as second point of contact for escalations and complaints
* Support team members by providing higher-level approval for various items as directed by the management
team
* Day-to-day supervision of team members
* Attendance at appraisals (with member of management team)
* Co-ordination and responsibility for cover within the team
* Monitoring lateness & sickness
* Extra support for trainee team members
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation (with full support of management team)
* To lead by example with SLAs
* To monitor and support team to achieve SLAs
* To report to management team on high-level performance data
* To implement policies and procedures of the company as instructedThe person:
* Experience in successfully managing complex and challenging developments
* Proven track record for SLA compliance
* Strong level of written communication
* Ability to provide guidance on technical matters
* Previous experience of supervising or managing employees.
* AIRPM qualification
* MIRPM and AssocRICS qualifications - Desirable
