Job Title: Fire Safety Inspector / Fire Safety Officer (Entry Level)
Salary: £32,000
Location: London & surrounding areas (site-based, travel required)
Contract: Full-time, permanent

The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is genuinely excited about starting a career in fire safety. No previous fire safety role is required - we're looking for people with the right attitude, attention to detail, and a real interest in building a future in this industry.

You'll be trained to carry out fire safety inspections across residential and mixed-use properties, supporting compliance with current fire safety legislation and helping to keep buildings and residents safe.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out on-site fire safety inspections across a portfolio of properties

  • Checking fire doors, means of escape, signage, emergency lighting, alarms, and general fire safety standards

  • Identifying issues and recording findings clearly and accurately

  • Supporting fire safety compliance and follow-up actions with site teams and contractors

  • Maintaining inspection records and reports for compliance purposes

  • Learning UK fire safety legislation and best practice through hands-on experience

Who This Role Is For
This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Is keen to build a career in fire safety

  • Has a background in construction, property, facilities, security, concierge, waking watch, health & safety, or maintenance - but this is not essential

  • Is observant, organised, and confident communicating on site

  • Is comfortable travelling between properties using public transport or their own transport

  • Wants a long-term career with progression in fire safety and compliance

Experience & Qualifications

  • No previous fire safety role required

  • Any fire safety, health & safety, or construction-related training is a bonus but not essential

  • Full training and support will be provided

Why Apply?

  • Entry route into a growing and important industry

  • Hands-on, site-based role with real responsibility

  • Clear development opportunities within fire safety

  • Supportive environment for those new to the sector

If you're motivated, proactive, and genuinely interested in starting a career in fire safety, we'd love to hear from you.
