PMR Are currently searching for experienced property managers to join a team of 7 others based in Newcastle
The position is within the internal office based property management service desk team and is one of 8 Property Managers with the team including a Senior Property Manager and the PMSD Team Leader. This team is responsible for managing all repairs and maintenance issues raised by residents and/or the external facing Portfolio Managers; the successful postholder will not be required to visit properties, but liaise from our Newcastle office with all residents, 3rd party external contractors and the companys own Health & Safety and Gas teams.
The position is offered on a permanent contract with a gross annual salary of up to £23,000 and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm with an hour off for lunch. The actual working hours of the successful candidate will be agreed with the Team Leader. Please note this role is office based due to the requirement for the team members to work collaboratively with each other and it has proven to us that this can be done more effectively face to face than remotely.
Reporting to the Property Management Team Leader, the postholder will:
- Be responsible for day to day call handling, managing customer service and interaction
- Professionally and proactively support Portfolio Managers' to manage residential property portfolios comprising of mixed tenures, in accordance with the company's management strategy, policies and procedures, legal and budgetary requirements.
- To fully assist, support all areas of the business to successfully deliver the business objectives.
- Provide a professional and proactive internal point of contact for all tenants, general public, professionals, contractors and other departments within Grainger plc
- At all times promoting the Grainger brand with the highest levels of customer service
