Verto HR are a specialist HR Services company, with a turnover in excess of £6M, we are a highly successful business that partners with clients in the property management sector to provide managed staffing of their sites. We are part of a recruitment and HR services group.
We have a NEW vacancy for an accounts person to join our team, you would be asked to carry out a range of payroll, invoicing and purchase ledger tasks and so some experience in these areas is essential.
We do not neccessarily expect you to have used our software systems before, but we expect you to be highly IT literate.
You would be responsible to the Group Accounts Manager for the efficient management of the company's accounting system.
Your day to day tasks would involve close liaison with our Client Account Managers, who are responsible for the management of our site based staff, their pay and the invoicing of our clients.
After initial training, the post is highly flexible and home working will be the norm, however you must be prepared to visit our central London offices for one day a week.
There is also a certain amount of negotiation possible on working hours and days worked.
The minimum requirements for candidates are,
- Highly IT literate with Excel and Outlook.
- Some experience of using accounting software, such as Sage or Xero
- Previous payroll experience
- 2-3 years experreince in the accounts team of an SME
