PMR are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for our client, a large, award winning developer within the BTR sector.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be the key lead establishing Quintain Living within the corporate market. You will work alongside the senior team in mapping and delivering our business-to-business approach, building sustainable, long-lasting relationships that lead to lease up of circa 250 units per year with upward growth to continue beyond.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the delivery of strategic business development plan that supports Quintain Living becoming a key stakeholder within the corporate market.
- Identify key market opportunities for corporate partnership through research and business analysis.
- BDM will self-generate leads and will be responsible for setting appointments with key corporate stakeholders and decision makers.
- You will be a key representative for Quintain Living in the corporate market, you will have a first-class understanding of Quintain Living project at Wembley Park and will be a key player in selling the benefits of the area.
- Attend appointments remotely and set appointments within the Hub with decision makers that lead to corporate partnership deals.
- Become an industry expert - gather and review market intelligence enabling sound strategic business development decisions to be made.
- Represent the business at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, networking events. Building enduring relationships with a diverse relevant audience from big businesses to educational institutions.
General Accountabilities:
- Undertake additional relevant duties which fall under the general scope of the role, as directed by your Manager, raising any issues with capacity so they can be properly managed;
- Participate in the full year and half year Performance Development Review process as reviewer and reviewee, meeting the standards and timescales required by the Company
- At all times ensure that your understanding and skill level regarding the Company's IT systems are up to date, as applicable to your role. Undertake IT training as required to ensure full and proper use of the available technology;
- Work within the Company's policies and procedures, governance framework and standards, as detailed on the Company's intranet;
- Remain knowledgeable about Group activities, benefiting from all forms of internal communication provided and acting as a positive ambassador for the Company at all times;
- Use materials and resources effectively and efficiently to minimise waste and consider the impact of potential actions on the environment before taking business decisions.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Demonstrated excellence in new business development, consultative selling, presentation and leadership skills.
- Excellent networking, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong analysis and decision-making skills.
- Experience of presenting at senior level within the corporate market.
