Our client is currently seeking an experienced Concierge to work at a luxury residential development in South East London.
The shift pattern will be Monday - Friday; 8am - 3pm
Salary is £20,930pa (equivalent to £11.50ph)
The candidate is to provide Porter/Concierge/minor Maintenance duties for lessees, residents and any visitors to the site.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be responsible for front of house admin, which includes monitoring the visitors book, receiving/distributing mail/parcels, cctv monitoring, key handling and providing meter readings.
- They will also be responsible for day to day cleaning as needed (there is a weekly cleaning contract in place), building inspection and fault reporting (checking Plant/Services, identifying faults and reporting maintenance/breakdown issues), along with any minor maintenance (changing bulbs/fluorescent tubes/starters and other small repairs).
- The concierge will be responsible for regularly checking/baiting vermin control.
- The concierge will supervise and assist contractors on site as required
- The candidate should be phone and computer literate.Routine Daily Checks:
- Walk the outside of the building checking all doors, clearing litter (including any dog waste) and the general condition of building and paving.
- Walk car park checking doors and lighting.Walk building checking lifts (and their emergency help lines), lighting, and plant (water pumps, a/c fans).
Routine Weekly Checks:
- Check Fire Alarm.
- Check 3 AOV's.
- Check the operation of 10 automatic opening fire doors.When necessary:
- Wash out binroom/external paved areas.
- Report any parking infringements.We intend our concierge to become a long-term member of our buildings community who will, in time, be happy to familiarise themselves with residents and lessees and the vehicles they own in the car park.
