Description

The Assistant Estate Manager will support the Estate Manager with the day to day operations of a high end residential development.

The role will oversee front of house and operational teams, ensuring excellent customer service, strong health and safety standards and the smooth running of the estate.

Duties:

  • Support the Estate Manager with the day to day management and operation of the development.
  • Supervise and support onsite teams, including Concierge, Security and other operational staff.
  • Assist with staff rotas, annual leave, inductions, training, performance and general team administration.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and build positive relationships with residents, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Carry out regular inspections of communal areas, identifying and reporting maintenance, security and health & safety concerns.
  • Assist with contractor management, including access, RAMS, permits, signing in/out and monitoring works onsite.
  • Support health & safety compliance, fire safety procedures, risk assessments, audits and incident reporting.
  • Oversee key management, deliveries, parcels, CCTV and other front-of-house procedures where required.
  • Monitor maintenance issues and ensure actions are followed through to completion.
  • Assist with resident communications, events and general community engagement.
  • Support the Estate Manager with reporting, stock control, budgets, tendering and cost management.
  • Liaise effectively with residents, contractors, managing agents and other onsite teams.

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience within residential property, estate, facilities or building management.
  • Experience supervising or managing onsite teams.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of health & safety, RAMS and contractor management.
  • Strong IT, administration and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Knowledge of budgets, tendering and cost control would be beneficial.
  • IOSH, NEBOSH or a relevant property management qualification would be desirable.

This is a varied, hands-on role requiring a professional, organised and proactive approach to supporting the successful day to day management of a residential development.
