We are actively sourcing for an experienced Head Concierge to work on a period style residential block in the heart of South West London.
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Main Responsibilities:
- To oversee and manage three cleaners and three concierge and run the lodge effectively.
- Carrying out block inspections, review current and put in new procedures as necessary, dealing with staff holidays, arranging cover as required and agreed with estate manager, taking on interim staff appraisals as required.
- Dealing with residents complaints, being a main contact for contractors.
- Assist the estate manager as required, administrative tasks. Candidate needs to be computer literate and be able to use outlook.
- To provide residents with a friendly, helpful and politely delivered service and to represent the company in a professional manner.
- To ensure the security of residents keys held in the lodge, at all times, to properly record the issuing of keys, taking accurate details and to ensure that the recipients are identified and approved.
- To record receipt and delivery of all parcels/packages during your shift in the parcels/packages register.
- To ensure that the telephone in the lodge is answered within 3 rings and resident queries/complaints are handled professionally.
- To ensure that all complaints and significant occurrences are recorded on the CRM system, and repairs that are required are reported to the Estate Manager or the appropriate contractor in the case of lifts, entry system faults or television service, recording your actions on our CRM system.
- To monitor CCTV coverage of the estate, react to issues and report as appropriate on the CRM system including any defects with the CCTV system.
- Check to ensure the CCTV is recording correctly and pre-set dates and times are accurate.
- To inspect the internal hallways of all blocks and external estate areas at least once per shift, ensure all gates, doors to blocks and garage areas are secure, the hallways are clean and tidy and all lights functioning.
- Record times of inspections on the CRM system and deal with appropriately, any issues found.
- If you are the only one on duty, whenever the lodge is closed and when on patrol, the lodge telephone is to be diverted to a mobile.
- To keep the lodge clean and tidy at all times. All the window blinds in the lodge are to be open at all times during your working hours so you are clearly visible to all and that you have a clear view of all residents/guests/contractors etc entering and leaving the courtyard.
- To assist the Estate Manager with the preparation and delivery of circular letters etc.
- To ensure that use of the computer in The Lodge is for work purposes only and no personal use by any member of staff is permitted. The use of internet for personal use is not permitted.
- To deal with any lease breaches such as children being allowed to play in the courtyards in an appropriate, polite, firm manner.
- To carry out any other tasks as directed by the Estate manager such as reading meters, inputting invoices onto accounting system, assisting with payroll for staff.
- To ensure that the cleaners sign in for work on Saturdays and are issued with any necessary keys and mobile phones and that they are returned at the end of the morning shift.
Ideal candidate:
- Will have worked on high end residential developments previously in a similar role for 3 years minimum
- Previous experience in managing teams
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with colleagues, residents, contractors and senior management.
- Health & Safety knowledge
- Confident using Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
