Service Charge Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Service Charge Accountant to join a well-established property management team in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in service charge accounting who is confident using Propman and looking for a role that offers variety, responsibility, and hybrid working.

The Role

• Preparing and finalising service charge accounts in line with statutory and client deadlines.

• Reconciling expenditure, ensuring accuracy of postings, and managing year-end adjustments.

• Working closely with Property Managers to provide accurate financial reporting and answer queries.

• Producing budgets and forecasts, ensuring compliance with lease obligations and industry standards.

• Liaising with auditors, clients, and stakeholders to support smooth completion of accounts.

• Using Propman to manage processes efficiently and accurately.

The Person

• MUST have previous experience as a Service Charge Accountant within residential or commercial property management.

• Strong knowledge of service charge accounting, relevant legislation, and best practice.

• Confident user of Propman is essential.

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with property managers and stakeholders.

The Package

• Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience.
