Job Opportunity: Residential Caretaker
Location: Private Residential Development
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am - 12.30pm & Saturday 8:30am- 10:30am
Salary: £14,000- £15,000 per annum
Start: ASAPWe are currently recruiting for a Part- Time Caretaker to support a residential development. This is a great opportunity for someone with a friendly, proactive approach who takes pride in keeping their environment clean, safe, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, courteous presence for residents, visitors, and contractors
- Monitor site access and challenge unauthorised individuals when necessary
- Log and report any maintenance issues or building defects to management
- Carry out light maintenance tasks
- Ensure communal areas are tidy and free of obstructions at all times
- Manage contractor access and sign-in procedures
- Check and distribute notices, and communications as required
- Keep resident notice boards up to date and presentable
- Maintain drains, gutters, and surrounding property cleanliness
- Use a company-provided phone to respond to resident queries during working hours
Ideal Candidate:
- Presentable, professional, and customer-service focused
- Confident managing site access and dealing with residents/contractors
- Basic handyman/maintenance skills (DIY, light repairs, etc.)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Prior experience in a residential or similar caretaking role is desirable
