Day Porter

We are currently hiring for an experienced Porter to work on a high end traditional block in the heart of SW London. You will be working for high end clients, delivering excellent service to residents around the building day to day.

Salary: £26,750 pa

Rota: Monday to Friday 2pm to 8pm and every Sunday 9am to 3pm, and 1 in 6 Saturdays.

Duties:

• Monitor the CCTV in the estate office.
• Meet and greet residents and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Check all blocks from top to bottom, making sure that everything is in order, check the plant rooms.
• Check that all boilers are working and that all boiler rooms are locked and secure.
• Check all lifts are working and that all lift motor room are locked and secure.
• Check all basements to make sure that all intake rooms are locked and secure.
• Check the back gate and the bin door to make sure these are both secure and locked.
• Patrol the pavement by walking up and down from block 2 to block 6 and also incorporating checking the bin area and back gate.
• Make sure you help any residents that you see with shopping or luggage or pushchairs etc.

Requirements:

• Experience in Residential or 5* Hotels.
• Reliable and timekeeping.
• Immaculate presentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the highest level of customer service.
• Be able to demonstrate initiative.
