Our Client are currently looking for an experienced Porter to join their team at a luxury development based in West London.
Working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm and Saturday afternoons for 4 hours with 1-hour unpaid lunch (44 hours per week)
Salary ranges between £29,000 - £31,000 annually.
Light cleaning duties involved, majority cleaning duties covered by the Cleaner who is based on-site Monday to Saturday also.
Duties include:
- Greet and welcome residents, guests, and visitors with professionalism.
- Manage resident queries and requests promptly and courteously, offering assistance where needed.
- Provide information on building amenities, services, and local area recommendations (e.g., restaurants, transport links).
- Coordinate deliveries and packages, ensuring secure receipt and notification to residents.
- Register and monitor visitors and contractors entering and leaving the building.
- Ensure security protocols are followed, including verification of visitors and maintaining logs.
- Act as the main point of contact for residents and management, relaying any concerns or building issues promptly.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with residents, contractors, and building management.
- Oversee security measures, including monitoring CCTV, controlling access, and patrolling common areas.
- Report any suspicious activity or security breaches immediately.
- Ensure that all doors, gates, and access points are properly secured.
- Conduct regular checks of fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency exits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond to and report any hazards, accidents, or emergencies in line with health and safety protocols.
- Log and report maintenance issues raised by residents, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
- Liaise with contractors, granting access to the building and overseeing work as necessary.
- Monitor the general upkeep of the building, identifying any maintenance requirements proactively.
- Regularly check the operation of building facilities such as lifts, entry systems, and lighting.
- Coordinate necessary repairs or maintenance for essential systems.
- Ensure the main entrance, lobby, hallways, stairwells, and other communal areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Sweep and mop floors, ensuring no dirt or debris accumulates in high-traffic areas.
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces, furniture, handrails, and windowsills.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, lift buttons, and intercoms.
- Place bin bags in bins in the bin room.
- Close all bags and take the rubbish out and leave it on the street for collection on applicable days.
- Assisting the Cleaner with further cleaning duties in emergencies.
