Our Client are looking for an experienced Porter to join their team at a luxury residential development based in South West London.
Working Monday to Friday, with alternating Saturdays. Weekday shifts rotate weekly between 8:30am - 2:30pm and 1:30pm - 8pm. Saturday shifts (every other week) are 8am - 1pm.
35 hours a week on average.
Salary is £25,000 annually (£13.74 per hour).
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Safety and Security of residents, building and staff
* When not available in the office, should always be available within the curtilage of the property
* Ensure access to the property is kept secure
* To carry out at least three inspections of all communal areas including stairwells and hallways - this will include the basement areas and plant rooms to
* Sign in guests to the building in the day book
* Provide lessees access to their flats where known and required
* Log all callers to the property
* Answer the telephone in the Porter's Office and pass messages to lessees
* Advise residents returning late of any packages/deliveries received and give general assistance to residents when asked
* On no account to run errands for residents
* Every week check that all the lift emergency telephone numbers are operational.
* Not to discuss issues with residents - keep your thoughts to yourself
* Ensure accurate completion of inspection reports
* Report any maintenance issues to the managing agents, especially if there is communal plant out of service
* Maintain health and safety reports
* To report issues requiring the attention of external contractors to the managing agent
* In an emergency to call the Managing Agents
