Our client is a leading student accommodation provider based in London. They are due to open new buildings based in the City of London.
They are looking for a Night Concierge in two different locations.
Locations: Westminster and Kings Cross
Salary £24,915 + 2% bonus
Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off (8pm-8am)
Main Duties:
- Communicate effectively, whether face to face, via telephone or in writing, with customers and colleagues, clearly understanding and responding to their needs
- Provide 'front of house' services at the property as required.
- Provide effective monitoring and management of residents including, behaviour and disciplinary issues, maintenance and damage.
- Provide a decisive and effective response to customer complaints and arbitrate tenant disputes to effective resolution following the core operating procedures
- Ensure compliance, security and integrity of customer data.
- Complete customer check-ins/outs and other resident processes in a timely and accurate manner in line with the core operating procedures.
- Exercise initiative in providing excellent customer service, liaising effectively with Managers and other Colleagues
- Ensure the effective provision of security services to the property to ensure a secure environment for team members and customers
- Prepare bins for regular collection by external contractor to achieve daily/weekly deadlines
- Ensure property bin stores are kept clean and tidy
- Record, log and monitor any maintenance issues that may arise within the property and liaise with the facilities team to ensure their timely repair.
- Carry out minor maintenance repairs as required
- Ensure the communal lounges, lift lobbies and reception areas are kept clean out of hours
- Supervise the work of emergency contractors on site
- Undertake regular building patrols to identify any maintenance requirements, Health and Safety or security risks and complete all resultant actions in accordance to the core operating procedures
Key Skills required:
- Experience of using business operating systems including Microsoft Office
- Demonstrable experience of effective communication both orally and in writing
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous security/conflict management experience
- Flexibility in working hours including weekend working
- Live within a reasonable travel distance to properties within the City
- Ability to work in multiple locations in London
