- PMR have been instructed by a national Build to Rent provider to assit in the recruitment of a Marketing Manager to join the growing team.
The role of the Marketing Manager will be to create and deliver campaigns that will help us drive brand awareness and help establish our properties as the most exciting rental communities in their markets and neighbourhoods. You’ll be instrumental in managing and delivering brilliant marketing campaigns to promote our communitieslocally and nationally. As well as managing all channels across; social influencers, PR, email and events. You’ll also have dedicated media agencies who’ll work alongside you as well as a central marketing team based in London to help support you.
We’re looking for a creative, organised and dependable individual – someone who’s had experience of marketing across multi-channels – preferably in a BTR and/or hospitality environment. You will relish the opportunity to execute campaigns, to work creatively alone and with our local agency to develop those campaigns, to identify profile building and brand opportunities and to build the community partnerships through regular events. Quite simply you’ll be the marketing face of Build To Rent.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: We’ve summarised here some of the day to day functions of the role:
Generate ideas and creative campaigns to aid the leasing team in their objectives, promote and drive awareness of our new BTR properties within their local markets, regionally and nationally.
Experience working both as part of a team and on your own with excellent interpersonal skills.
Business development and managing relationships within relevant brands and companies.
Campaign Planner - responsible for digital advertising, social & influencer campaigns, post campaign analysis, ensuring advertising campaigns and events are effective.
Plan and organise events and activations to promote BTR properties to the public and encourage renters to stay for longer.
Play a positive and active part of the BTR team, and be the key stakeholder for all marketing activity in BTR.
Take ownership of all marketing activities across; initial community set up, community preleasing, community site launch and community lifespan.
PR & Brand
Devise and manage a marketing strategy to elevate BTR properties.
Day to Day management of local PR agency outputs; reviewing and approving PR strategies, campaigns and influencer activity.
Build direct relationships with key local media, neighbours and local businesses.
Devise and manage an ongoing marketing strategy to elevate the BTR brand.
Be a brand ambassador at relevant networking events and meetings. Social Media and Website
Manage the social media channels for BTR properties and generate growth of traffic to website.
Build strong relationships with key local establishments and co-create content.
Build strong relationships with key local brands, retailers, F&B operators etc. to share and post content.
Monitor/report on social media performance.
Devise SEO and PPC campaigns when relevant to aid the leasing teams.
Events & Partnerships
Curate and manage placemaking/tenant events from launch to post-opening period, working alongside 3rd party agencies.
Brief and manage local creative agency for any collateral required for events.
Build Strong relationships with key local establishments and brands to co-create content to amplify across all marketing channels
Maintain weekly and monthly marketing audits of all sources for constant accuracy and brand.
Experience:
Minimum of three years’ experience within a similar role within the housing sector or hospitality, with Woking, London and Manchester housing market knowledge.
Proficient with InDesign & Photoshop.
Managing internal & external communications (newsletters, staffing updates, campaigns). Have a real flair for language, copywriting and experience writing content for commercial purposes.
Good knowledge of social media and experience managing brand pages.
Adept knowledge of WordPress, Dotmailer, Google Analytics, social scheduling tools.
Experience working with budgets.
SEO & PPC strategy experience.
Interest in events relevant to the target audience of BTR – ideally event management experience of such events.

Highly organised, with exceptional time management skills.

Comfortable in working independently and as part of a team.
Enthusiastic, reliable & confident individual with a desire to learn and excel.
Strong communication and people skills to be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
