Operations Manager - Block Management
Location: London (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000A growing block management company in London is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take on a leadership role within the business. While still managing a small portfolio, the focus of this position is on team management, business growth, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development - Support, mentor, and oversee the property management team to maintain high service standards.
- Business Growth & Strategy - Contribute to key decisions that impact the direction and expansion of the company.
- Recruitment & Onboarding - Lead the hiring process and integrate new team members into the business.
- Portfolio Management - Manage a small number of properties to stay hands-on and engaged with clients.
- Operational Efficiency & Compliance - Improve internal processes and ensure compliance with leasehold regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with directors, clients and key stakeholders to drive service excellence.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience in block management, including team leadership.
- Solid knowledge of leasehold legislation, service charge management, and compliance.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with experience improving processes and driving growth.
- IRPM qualification (or willingness to work towards it) preferred.
- Confident decision-maker with excellent problem-solving skills.
