PMR are recruiting for a 'Maintenance Technician' to assist with the maintenance of their scheme in Crawley, comprising 185 apartments and on-site amenities.
The Maintenance Technician will be managing the day-to-day repairs and maintenance at the scheme in Crawley and reporting into the Residents Services Manager. The site will be supported by a central team covering Customer Service, Operations and Block Management. You will be the face of the brand, delivering the highest levels of customer service to ensure residents have the best rental experience.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
This is a physically demanding role and the successful candidate will work in a multistorey residential development covering the following key responsibilities.
- Turning around vacant apartments with minor repairs, painting and decorating to ensure a high standard for new incoming tenants.
- Diagnosing, repairing and resolving issues in current resident apartments.
- Ensuring all areas of the building are clean and always presents well including building exterior, car parks and all internal communal areas.
- Monitor, manage and oversee the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and compliance requirements for your development via our Health & Safety and PPM software.
- Managing any on-site contractors and sign off on any completed works
- Maintaining stock and supply of any spares held on site

YOUR PROFILE
A resourceful problem-solver with good technical knowledge and previous experience of residential repair including carpentry, joinery, painting and decorating. Able to manage own workload, work proactively and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should love interacting with people face to face and have a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service. Basic plumbing and electrical experience would be desirable along with Health & Safety compliance or IOSH certification. Previous experience in residential (PRS, BTR or PBSA) or hospitality sectors would be advantageous.
