Description

We are working with a leading Block Management company who are looking to hire a Day Duty Manager to work on a prestigious residential block in SW London. The aim of the Duty Manager is to be the main point of contact to the General Manager and Facilities Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Concierge Desk.

Hours: 4on 4off rota, 7am to 7pm

Salary: £42,000 pa

Duties:

  • To assist in the required onsite duties and provide excellent concierge services as prescribed by the General Manager and/or Facilities Manager.
  • To maintain effective all-round line management of the concierge team through delegation and co-ordination in addition to carrying out all regular concierge duties.
  • To establish and exceed levels of customer service as the benchmark on which the rest of the Concierge Team will be measured.
  • Overseeing all staff administration including Staff Induction, Training, Annual Rota, Annual Leave forms, Overtime and Return to Work forms. Constantly strive for continuous improvement.
  • Delivering excellent customer service.
  • Take personal responsibility for understanding and following the company's Health & Safety policies and practices. demonstrating personal engagement with safety and proactively identifying risks and hazards (to the General Manager and/or Facilities Manager) to continuously improve safety performance.
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information, dealing with issues and queries with utmost professionalism.
  • To undertake routine patrols around the development, observing and reporting accordingly.

Required Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent IT and numeracy skills.
  • Practical application and working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and legislation to eliminate or mitigate risk in the workplace.
  • Experience of working outdoors and ability to work under own initiate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required. The post holder should have the ability to work as part of a team and to motivate others and should possess a high level of negotiating, influencing and presentational skills due to the interaction required both within and external to the development.
  • Proven experience as Front of House or similar position.
  • Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV).
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Outstanding organisational and leadership skills.
  • High school diploma; Further Education in security administration or similar field would be an asset.
