Description

An established Managing Agent is seeking a Facilities Manager to work within their office in Zone 1-2 to support them with the facilities, PPM and Contract Adminstation across their portfolio.

The Role

  • Responsible for a portfolio of properties to ensure compliance with all H&S requirements and management agreement
  • Carrying out regular monthly inspections of each property, completing the inspection on the App based system.
  • Ensure reactive and routine repairs and requests are adequately processed on the CAFM system (Elogbooks) instructing the appropriate approved contractor. Regular reports should be given to the FM/PM of any out of the ordinary events that arise. Monitoring of these works should be carried out regularly and effectively with Elogbooks. At all times ensuring tenants and residents are updated and made aware of progress.
  • Contractor administration - contracts, Purchase Orders, H&S documentation in line with company policy and procedure, using of Permits to work for high risk works.
  • Ensure occupiers are kept up to date with reactive and planned maintenance works as required
  • Attend client meetings, preparing meeting reports, providing meaningful commentary during meetings.
  • Prepare Service Charge Budgets and budget packs considering all works required for the coming year, review of Service Charge end of year reporting.
  • Attend regular supplier meetings deal with all issues as required
  • Ensure 90% document compliance on Riskwise (H&S System)
  • Ensure all risks are completed within in allotted timescale as detailed on Riskwise

The Person

  • IOSH qualification essential
  • Minimum 2 years' FM experience
  • Experience of Health and Safety compliance systems essential
  • Good IT skills especially Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good communication and administration skills
  • Polite, courteous manner
  • Proactive
  • Presentable

The Package

£45,000pa, based in the office in Zone 1-2.
