Our client would like to take on a new Maintenance Operative to join their residential team based in South East London.
We would like to speak to canddiates who are immediately available to start at temporary to permanent positon.
Shift Patterm: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 16:00pm
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Position: Maintenance Operative/ Handyman
Job Description:
- To assist in monitoring any defects or problems and assist in resolution with the wider Residential team.
- To assist with building management functions including liaison with sub-contractors over maintenance works.
- To carry out general PPMs/reactive and project related tasks as instructed by the Residential Building Services Manager.
- To carry out daily plant/BMS checks and report issues to management. To complete all tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
- To maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the floors and plant areas.
- To be thoroughly familiar and comply with the Company's "Health & Safety" policy and procedures and to immediately report any hazards or infringements to the Residential Building Services Manager.
- To complete all associated paperwork on a daily basis in accordance with company procedures.
- To support with resident moves/refurbishments and general reconfigurations. To ensure that all residential support facilities are operational and of a high standard.
- To chase up and close out of all defects reported. Record statuses, add comments and update allocated tickets of completion. Contact customers to confirm defects are closed out and ensure they are satisfied.
- Assist the team in snagging the communal/landlord areas in any new buildings.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Residential Building Services Manager.
Requirements:
- Must be able to plaster and paint
- Wear steel toe cap boots
- Have worked in a maintennace/ simialr role
The successful candidate must be able to provide excellent references and be willing to undergo full vetting checks.
