Description

Property Management Recruitment are seeking an experienced General Manager to take overall responsibility for the delivery, leadership of day-to-day operations, and onsite lettings and property management teams for a brand-new luxury Build to Rent development in North West London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide insight into the local market and competitors
  • Liaise with teams to agree leasing & marketing strategy
  • Where required, assist with the resident journey
  • Conduct regular market appraisals and provide feedback
  • Ensure all purchasing levels are within authorised limits using nominated suppliers
  • Control all costs within budgeted responsibilities, maintaining records of all spend
  • Ensure all invoicing is correct and all financial procedures are followed
  • Establishing and delivering additional income streams where appropriate
  • Hold business reviews quarterly to discuss site performance and agree improvements
  • Conduct weekly building checks and feedback issues to rectify
  • Sustain excellent working relationships with external contractors and suppliers
  • Liaising with FM on all maintenance issues and compliance measures and meet regularly to discuss compliance measures
  • Responsible for Health and Safety compliance coordination
  • Create a strong community through communication, events and innovations
  • Coordinate social media activity in conjunction with marketing team
  • Relentless approach to improving standards and ensuring all the team are delivering exceptional customer service
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff as well as provide induction training for all team members
  • Lead employees using a performance management and development process

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous experience managing a Build to Rent development to exceptional standards
  • Strong customer service ethic / background
  • Experience in managing a team of at least 6 people
  • Strong financial management skills including experience in managing expenditure against budget
  • Understanding H&S compliance and complex building matters is essential
  • Positive attitude and an outgoing, friendly personality
  • IT literate and social media savvy
  • ARLA - Desirable
  • IOSH - Desirable
