Description

PMR are working with an established  national Build to Rent operator who are looking for an Assistant Asset Manager to join a busy and growing department.
 

The team manages various large residential schemes across the UK and the number is set to rise significantly over the next twelve months. They are seeking an experienced individual to hit the ground running taking on and mobilising three new schemes under the guidance of one of their experienced Asset Managers and with the support of the on site Scheme Hosts.
 

The role requires experience with Property Management at an asset level, excellent organisational and people management skills and a hands-on and proactive approach to the role.
 

Responsibilities
 

  • Monitor asset performance and make suitable recommendations to the client
  • Review any new offers against letting strategy and forward to Tenancy Management to progress
  • Review voids and seek feedback from Scheme Host on available units
  • Assess rent levels versus demand, upcoming availability and the local market
  • Line manage on site staff
  • Review Scheme Host KPIs and act where necessary
  • Oversee Scheme Host duties such as maintenance, renewals 7 deposits release
  • Review outstanding H&S items and seek updates to remedy
  • Review arrears over 21 days and take appropriate action
  • Invoice approval
  • Prepare detailed client reporting (once per month)
  • Prepare and monitor detailed operational budgets (annually and quarterly respectively)
  • Client meeting (once per month)
  • Review resident feedback and Resident Engagement Manager inspections and take appropriate action

  • Confident with liaising with clients and providing strategic advice
  • Ability to work under pressure with a degree of flexibility and to take control of own workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - good communication with own team and between departments
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills

Experience
 

Property Management experience required - ideally within Build to Rent
