Your friendly manner is essential for dealing with tenants and landlords via email and phone. Independence is crucial to managing your own diary and planning your workload for the portfolio spanning across the North West.
Working directly under the Director of Property Management, you will gain maximum exposure to the industry and learn hands-on what it takes to successfully manage a multi-city portfolio. Every day will bring new challenges and experiences.
As a property manager, you will coordinate the tenant's experience from move-in to move-out, resolving issues, handling maintenance, and managing tenancy paperwork according to legal compliance. Exceptional customer service, a friendly telephone manner, and confidence are key.
Full training is provided, including professional qualifications, and previous property experience is necessary for this particular opportunity. Customer service experience is a bonus, and we'll provide all the tools and support you need to excel in this exciting, fast-paced industry.
You must have use of your own car, as visits to properties are essential.
We require great organizational skills, time-management, and the ability to work independently while cooperating with the rest of the team to deliver exceptional service to tenants and landlords.
The day-to-day aspects of the role briefly include:
- Resolving maintenance issues for properties under management
- Property inspections
- Preparing tenancy paperwork
- Liaising between landlords, contractors, and tenants
- Ensuring full legislative compliance (training provided)
We're looking for someone who is a problem solver, quick-thinking, articulate, a great communicator, and a strong team player.
Other essentials for the ideal candidate are:
- Full driver's license and car
- Keen eye for detail (checking contract paperwork and conditions within properties)
