Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Block Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK property law and regulations, as well as experience in managing all aspects of block property management, including:
- Managing the communal areas of blocks of flats and apartments
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of communal facilities
- Preparing and managing service charge budgets
- Dealing with leaseholder enquiries and complaints
- Managing contractors and service providers
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Responsibilities:
- Manage the communal areas of blocks of flats and apartments, including gardens, lifts, car parks, and other facilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of communal facilities, and manage contractors and service providers
- Prepare and manage service charge budgets, and collect service charges from leaseholders
- Deal with leaseholder enquiries and complaints, and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Keep up to date with changes in UK property law and regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 2 years' experience in block property management
- Strong understanding of UK property law and regulations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
