Role: Building Manager
Hours: Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm
Salary: £50,000pa + Company Benefits

Role Purpose:
The Building Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations and Facilities Management at the property, including on site health and safety, maintenance, compliance, day-to-day staff management (including assisting HR with recruitment and training) and services to residential residents and retail customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- To demonstrate excellent Communication skills and be able to work closely with the senior management team, colleagues, residents, retail customers, contractors and all other third party connections, leading to the delivery of high quality customer service and an unrivalled resident/customer experience
- To Exhibit effective skills and techniques around Prioritising workload, Organisation and Planning of self and team
- To take ownership, in collaboration with the Operations Director, in drafting budgets both for Capital and Repairs and Maintenance
- To keep control of the budget and report on a monthly basis statistics to an appropriate level to be useful to the board as relevant and factual management information
- To prepare and report on a five-year plan, signed off by the Operations Director and the Board, in all key areas
Essential Experience:
- Worked in similar Facilities Management environment for a minimum of 5 years
- Current knowledge and experience of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements relating to the working environment and residential block management
- A solid understanding of property maintenance and refurbishment principles and the ability to instruct and manage contractors accordingly to agreed budgets
- A knowledge of property mechanical and electrica installations including communal heating systems
- Line management experience of a site-based team
Desirable:
- Residential and commercial experience
- Experience working with residential residents living in prime central London property
Essential Qualifications:
- Tech IOSH and MIWFM or Assoc RICS working towards MIWFM
- It will be a requirement for any additional qualifications to be studied for and acquired, subject to government reviews and professional standards
Desirable Qualifications:
- MRICS
- CMIOSH
There is an expectation that 25 hours of CPD will be carried out on an annual basis, supported by the Company
