Our client is seeking an experienced Residential Porter, to join their high-end residential block based in Chelsea SW3.
Hours - Wednesday, Thursday & Friday ( 12:30pm until 7:30pm ) Saturday ( 7am until 7pm ) Sunday (9:30am - 1pm )- 35.5 hour working week
Salary - £24,000 per annum ( equivalent to £13ph )Experience required
Ideally experince in either residential or hotel background
Good customer service skills
Good telephone mannerMain duties
Maintain a constant and vigilant watch on the security of the block
To take telephone calls out of hours for emergencies on the mobile and to liaise with the Property Manager in resolving the issue - such as lock outs, leaks and break ins
Report to the Managing Agent (MA) any item requiring further action
Release keys to the common parts to approved persons / contractors as advised by MA, and keep record of distribution in key log book
Record activities and presence of Contractors in the log book
Maintain a daily diary
Ensure all contractors comply with the rules of the building - no use of front door or passenger lifts for access - use of ramp only and good lifts
Instruct resident's contractors to clean any mess left in the common parts
Receive deliveries on behalf of residents and alert those residents accordingly
Ensure all email messages are responded to same day and passed on accordingly
Assist to expediently resolve minor maintenance issues
Ensure notices posted on the notice boards on office door are current and relevant and remove those which are not
Release keys to individual flats to approved persons / contractors as advised by the flat owner, and keep record of distribution in key log book
