Description

An exciting co-living property, requires a sales and lettings assistant to join their busy team. The successful candidate will learn all aspects of lettings, must be enthusiastic, friendly and able to communicate face to face, over the phone and via email. This role is integral to the successful running of the department.

The Sales and Lettings Assistant will work with the Sales and Lettings Manager and the Customer Support Team to achieve occupancy targets and maximise revenue opportunities

Main Duties:

  • Track all sales metrics ensuring customers have a clear journey through our sales funnel.
  • Review and feedback on the customer sales journey on site; to include show flats, in person and online viewings, social media activity, student experience and reviews.
  • Objection handling for sales enquiries
  • Demonstrate a clear knowledge of the booking system and feedback change requests.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to deliver a joined-up effort towards achieving the numbers.
  • Ensure feedback is passed back to the wider revenue and partnerships team.
  • To be flexible and work effectively with other colleagues
  • Conduct viewings with prospective customers.
  • Supporting the Lettings process through referencing, right to rent checks and accurately documenting the stages using company systems.
  • Working with the Credit Control team to support that rent and deposits are paid in advance of check in.
  • Running rent reports and general auditing
  • Registering potential members and maintaining an accurate database through the sales journey.
  • Comply with Health and Safety working practice in accordance with the company's policy.
  • To be flexible and work effectively with other colleagues.

Skills:

  • Proven track record within sales conversion metrics
  • Analytical - experience of writing reports
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Ability to present to stakeholders when required
  • Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
  • Ability to achieve goals and targets within timescales
