Live In Head Porter

Our client is currently looking for a Live-in Head Porter to join their team based in a high-end residentail building in Chelsea.

Salary - £30,000 - £32,000 per annum + spacious 1 bed flat
Hours - Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm

Main Duties:

• To be the Resident Building Manager and to carry out the specific duties allocated to you from time to time.
• To provide services to the residents as a body in and about the common parts.
• To report any incident, event, damage defect or any other matter affecting or likely to affect residents of or visitors.
• To maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the internal common parts of each building, the parking area and all external common parts.
• To attend to emergency requests or requirements of residents.
• Checking and removing refuse, checking all rubbish chute rooms and disposing of bags left on floor or other items, check and change over video cassettes for CCTV
• Being on hand to receive post and recorded items and at other times of day for courier deliveries, etc.
• Taking newspapers to flats and 3-4 times daily checking entrances and removing or putting out for interest magazines; flyers ,cards, circulars, etc.
• Check courtyard, garages and be aware of vehicle movements, users and any unauthorised usage.
• Maintain a watching brief on comings and goings and occasional 'characters' in the vicinity.
• Check and replace as soon as possible dead lights in common parts and external entrances.
• Report any major damage as a consequence of work undertaken by a leaseholder to the managing agent
• Wipe down street signs

Requirements:

• The job involves the provision of a full cleaning service, you must be physically fit in order to carry out this duty.
• Proactive.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Expereince within the residential sector, as a porter or concierge.
