We are acting on behalf a Property Specialist company seeking a Paralegal to specialise in conveyancing services. With a strong commitment to excellence, they provide comprehensive legal support to clients in property transactions. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team.
The Role:
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing department. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting solicitors and senior paralegals in handling residential and commercial property transactions from start to finish.
- Conducting initial client interviews to gather essential information and documentation.
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and completion statements.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Conducting property searches, title checks, and due diligence.
- Managing and maintaining accurate records and files.
- Assisting with post-completion matters, including Land Registry applications and stamp duty payments.
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
The Person:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a conveyancing paralegal role.
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures, property law, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using conveyancing software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
- A commitment to providing excellent client service and maintaining confidentiality.
- Relevant paralegal qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
